Flame retardant for sofa fabric

With the improvement of living standards, the sofa becomes essential goods in every home. Therefore, requirements for the flame retardant of sofa fabrics are higher and higher.

The international mainstream flame retardant standards of sofa fabric are as follows:

British Standard 7176	The test method is suitably carried out in accordance with BS 5852, BS EN 1021-1, BS EN 1021-2
BS7177 flame retardant	It mainly includes the following three parts: BS 597-1: 1995 cigarette test, BS 597- 2: 1995 is equivalent to match fire source test, BS6807: 2006 wood frame fire source test
BS6807	This standard fire source can be divided into: 2,3,4,5,6,7, six fire sources, the same as BS 5852 fire source

All sofa fabric flame retardant tests need to be immersed in water for 30 minutes, and then naturally dried before testing; you'd better use samples with large flame retardant. To speed up, we generally test the results before and after water immersion.
