The flame retardant mechanism of RUICO halogen flame retardant products is to capture the free radicals in the decomposition of polymer materials, and not delay or inhibit the reaction of the combustion chain. The HBr it releases is different to burn, covering the surface of the re-material to isolate the diluted oxygen.

Disadvantages :

The flame retardant mechanism of RUICO phosphorus flame retardant products is as follows:

Condensed phase flame retardant

Gas phase flame retardant

Advantage:

Small amount of smoke when burning

Good flame retardant effect, but poor flame retardancy compared to bromine

Disadvantage:

Poor thermal stability

Most of them are not water resistant and the flame retardant effect is not lasting
