Sterilization food packaging requires composite films to withstand harsh high-temperature humid environments, and LB 165A/LB 165B is developed targeting this rigorous demand. Standard processed laminates can pass 40 min 100°C boiling and 30 min 121°C retort testing without delamination, bubbling or loss of bonding strength.
This two-component solvent PU adhesive supports all mainstream multi-layer structures: film-film, film-metalized film and aluminum foil composite. It is specially recommended for 70–130 μm thick PE sealing layer, which is hard to bond with ordinary adhesives. After full curing, the adhesive layer is elastic, transparent and odorless, without affecting packaging printing appearance and food taste.
Raw materials are light yellow viscous liquid with ethyl acetate as solvent. Standard mixing mass ratio 20:3.5, adjustable hardener proportion for metalized film production. Dilution solvent must have water content below 300 ppm; alcohol and aromatic solvents are forbidden.
Pot life management is key to stable production. Normal temperature environment offers 8 hours usable time, while workshops over 28°C and humidity above 60% require mixed glue to be consumed within 2 hours. Optimize drying air flow and nip roller pressure to further lift composite performance.
Production schedule is controllable: triplex films can be further processed 2–4 hours after lamination; full curing finishes in 7–14 days to obtain complete retort resistance. The product complies with global food contact regulations, suitable for meat, seafood, ready-to-cook retort pouches.
Before mass production, carry out small trial lamination to test matching with your films, printing ink and surface treatment process. Contact Zhejiang Ruico Advanced Materials to obtain technical support and trial samples for your sterilization packaging production line.
