1. Brominated fabric flame retardant
There is no compound in the world that has undergone so many tests and evaluations like Decabromodiphenyl Ether. After 10 years of testing, 588 projects were carried out at a cost of 8 million euros. As a result, no hazards caused by production, manufacturing, storage, transportation and use were found. Therefore, the European Union made a decision on October 15, 2005 to allow DBDPO to be applied to polymers in the RoHS directive.
The decision is based on the EU's risk assessment of the environment and human health, industry consultation, and the voluntary emission control action plan (VECAP) proposed by the DBDPO production and use industry. For the production of DBDPO, the purity should be increased to 98% or more, so that the bromination is not completely controlled in the nonabromodiphenyl ether and the weight of the octabromodiphenyl ether is reduced, in line with the corresponding directives and regulations. (1) Decabromodiphenylethane and DBDPO have the same bromine content and the same relative molecular mass, which can be used in places where DBDPO is available.
Brominated epoxy resin is divided into low molecular weight and high molecular weight. Brominated polystyrene is an additive polymer bromine-based textile flame retardant. Brominated polystyrene with low molecular weight is better in fluidity and compatibility.

 

(2) Polybrominated styrene is a polymer of brominated styrene, which can improve the compatibility of copolymers with certain resins, thereby improving the heat resistance and fluidity of flame-retardant materials, and preventing materials from foaming.

 

(3) Tetrabromobisphenol A carbonate oligomer is an additive aromatic bromine-based textile flame retardant, mainly used for flame retardant abs, PBT, PET, PC, PC/ABS mixture, polysulfon, PET/ PBT mixture and SAN. Bromine-containing carbonate oligomer is a good textile flame retardant, with raw material chroma, impact strength, fluidity and thermal stability.

 

2. Organic phosphorus textile flame retardant
Phosphorus-based fabric flame retardants are rich in resources, low in wood production, and widely used. It is a kind of fabric flame retardant with great development prospects. It has the advantages of colorless, transparent, high efficiency, low toxicity, wide use, and low cost. It can be used in PU foam, UP, EP and other fields. Due to the dual functions of flame retardant and plasticizing, phosphorus-based fabric flame retardants have received attention, including phosphate esters, halogen phosphate esters, complex phosphate esters and their derivatives, polyphosphate esters, and red phosphorus. Phosphorus compounds, especially phosphorus-nitrogen intumescent fabric flame retardants and polymer flame retardants are very promising fabric flame retardants. Beijing Institute of Technology, Northeast Forestry University and other units have achieved a lot of results. The work is how to expand production and do a good job in promotion and application.

 

3. Silicone textile flame retardant
Silicone textile flame retardant is a non-toxic, high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant polymer compound. my country has tens of thousands of tons of equipment, and it has the conditions for the development of silicone textile flame retardant.

 

4. Inorganic textile flame retardant
Antimony textile flame retardants are mainly antimony trioxide and antimony pentoxide, which are generally used as a synergistic effect of bromine textile flame retardants. After micronization, nanoization, and microencapsulation, the added amount can be reduced.
Aluminum-magnesium textile flame retardant is an environmentally friendly product. The main varieties are aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide. In addition to them, they can also reduce toxic gases and smoke, but the disadvantage is that they are added in large amounts.
