Polymer coatings are mainly polymer coatings. Paint is the general term for materials that are applied to the surface of an object and can form a tough protective film. Most of them are viscous liquids. Because they were mainly made of vegetable oil in the early days, they were called paints. The varieties of modern paints have exceeded this range, and are mainly made of natural or synthetic polymer materials, collectively referred to as polymer coatings.

The main function
①Protect objects, prevent or reduce the surface of objects from being corroded by the atmosphere, ocean, soil, and chemical media, so as to prolong their service life
② Give the surface cleanness and beauty;
③Adjust or improve the electrical, optical, thermal insulation, sound insulation, flame retardant, temperature resistance, mildew resistance, antifouling, marking, camouflage, radiation resistance and other properties of the surface of various equipment.

Application
Polymer coatings can be coated on the surface of various metals, wood, concrete, leather, plastics, rubber, paper, fibers and other organic or inorganic materials. It is not limited by material, shape, volume, and does not affect the original equipment. The nature of it is widely used in industry, construction, aircraft manufacturing, aerospace industry and woodworking. In order to facilitate the construction, the paint is often made into different types of primer, putty, secondary paste, color paint (top paint) and varnish, which are used as a set. During construction, the surface of the object to be coated is first subjected to surface treatment before coating, and then different construction methods are used, such as brushing, rubbing, scraping, rolling, dipping, flow, spraying, static electricity, fluidization, electrophoresis, coil coating, New processes such as high-pressure airless spraying, often warm or heat baking or radiation curing drying to make it into a film, and sometimes need to be modified, polished, and polished to get the required coating.
