Stronger Bonding Starts with Better Polymer Modification
In construction materials, adhesion is often one of the key factors affecting the performance of a cement-based product.
A mortar may need to adhere to concrete, masonry, stone, or other substrates.
For manufacturers, this means that selecting the right polymer modifier can be an important part of formulation development.
RF-9608A SBR Latex is developed for cement mortar modification and is designed to increase adhesion to most substrates.
The product provides good chemical stability, excellent dispersibility, and good compatibility with various cements, allowing it to be evaluated in different cement-based formulation systems.
RF-9608A has a typical solid content of 48.0 ± 1% and a pH range of 7.0–9.0. Its viscosity is ≤800 mPa·s, while the listed Tg and MFFT are both 6°C.
For formulation engineers, these properties provide a useful technical reference.
But the real value of a polymer latex is determined by how it performs within the complete formulation.
Different cement types may interact differently with polymer latex.
Different filler systems, additives, water ratios, mixing processes, and curing conditions may also affect the final product.
This is why formulation trials are essential.
At Zhejiang Ruico Advanced Materials, we encourage customers to evaluate RF-9608A under their actual production conditions before mass production.
We believe technical cooperation should start from the customer's application.
Are you developing:
▪ Polymer-modified cement mortar?
▪ Cement-based waterproofing products?
▪ Cement repair materials?
▪ Adhesion-enhanced construction formulations?
If so, RF-9608A may be worth evaluating as part of your polymer modification system.
We are ready to provide product documentation and discuss your technical requirements.
