RF-9608A: SBR Latex Designed for Cement Modification
What should manufacturers consider when selecting an SBR latex for cement-based applications?
Compatibility with cement.
Dispersion.
Chemical stability.
Adhesion.
And of course, the overall formulation requirements.
RF-9608A SBR Latex has been developed with cement modification in mind.
RF-9608A is a styrene-butadiene latex copolymer suitable for the modification of cement mortar. The product is characterized by wide applicability, excellent chemical stability, excellent dispersibility, and good compatibility with various cements.
Another important feature is its ability to increase adhesion to most substrates.
For manufacturers working with cement-based formulations, good dispersion and cement compatibility can be important factors when developing stable formulations.
RF-9608A has a typical solid content of 48.0 ± 1%, pH of 7.0–9.0, and viscosity of ≤800 mPa·s. Its Tg and MFFT are both 6°C.
These values provide a technical reference for formulation engineers during laboratory evaluation.
However, every cement formulation is different.
The final performance depends on the complete formulation and manufacturing process, so customers should conduct their own tests before moving into mass production.
Zhejiang Ruico Advanced Materials provides technical documentation and product support to help customers better understand and evaluate our polymer materials.
We believe that successful cooperation starts with understanding the customer's actual application.
