Retort and boiling food packaging demands extreme thermal resistance, and LF 2077/LF 2188 solvent-free adhesive is developed specifically for this harsh working condition. Standard composite films withstand 40min 100°C water boiling and 30min 121°C high-temperature retort without delamination, bubbling or peeling off.
It fits all mainstream sterilization packaging structures: film-film, film-metallized film and film-aluminum foil, covering PE, PP, PET, nylon and metalized substrates. The adhesive cures fast with stable bonding growth, and fully cured film is odor-free and elastic, never contaminating food taste. The flexible mixing ratio (100:60~80) allows technicians to adjust formula according to metalized film or aluminum foil lamination needs.
Strict substrate surface tension control is required before lamination: BOPP/PE/CPP ≥38 dyne, PET ≥50 dyne, PA ≥52 dyne; insufficient corona treatment will lead to poor adhesion. Accurate web tension control prevents curling, telescoping and layered separation during winding. Recommended curing temperature is 35–45°C to shorten full curing cycle to 3–5 days.
This product meets global food contact safety standards, suitable for meat, seafood, ready-to-cook sterilized pouches. Unopened raw materials have 9 months storage life, and operators must follow isocyanate safety operation rules with ventilation equipment equipped on coating machines. Conduct small batch trials before mass production to match ink, film and processing environment.
