Headline: Protecting Chemical Integrity: Recommended Storage, Packaging, and Handling Rules for RF-8602
Polymer latex dispersions are sensitive colloidal systems that require controlled storage and careful handling to preserve their molecular characteristics and field performance. To ensure every delivery of RUICO RF-8602 Flexible Waterproof Emulsion delivers optimal bonding and moisture protection, manufacturing plants and warehouse crews should observe our handling standards:
1. Industrial Packaging Options
RF-8602 is supplied in three heavy-duty industrial container formats to match different manufacturing scale requirements:
-
50 kg Plastic Drums: Ideal for laboratory trials, pilot production, or smaller specialized construction batches.
-
200 kg Plastic Drums: Standard packaging for conventional automated batch blending lines.
-
1000 kg Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC): High-capacity packaging designed for continuous pumping lines, maximizing storage footprint and logistical efficiency.
2. Temperature and Warehousing Directives
The emulsion should be stored in a cool, dry, well-shaded warehouse away from direct sunlight, strictly maintaining temperatures between 5℃ and 35℃ within tightly sealed original containers. Preventing freezing is critical. If temperatures drop below 0℃ and the emulsion freezes, irreversible phase separation and coagulation will occur, rendering the product unusable. Under proper storage conditions in unopened original packaging, the material has a shelf life of 6 months.
3. Jobsite Hygiene and Operator Safety
RF-8602 includes protective agents against microbial contamination during transit and storage in sealed drums. Once containers are opened, maintain good cleanliness to prevent airborne contamination; introducing secondary biocides may be necessary if opened materials remain stored for extended periods. Always blend the liquid thoroughly prior to compounding. Handlers must review current Safety Data Sheets (SDS), use appropriate safety gear to prevent skin and eye contact, and work in well-ventilated spaces. Spilled latex creates slippery floor conditions and should be cleaned up promptly.
