Traditional solvent-based adhesives waste large amounts of solvent and power for drying tunnels, while LF 2077/LF 2188 solvent-free PU adhesive effectively lowers overall production costs for packaging factories. With 100% solid content, no solvent loss occurs during coating, and the coating weight is only 1.2–3.2 g/m² dry, far less than most solvent-based counterparts. The drying oven can be shut down completely, drastically cutting electricity bills.
This multi-functional adhesive supports all common flexible packaging composite structures, with excellent wetting performance that reduces glue usage without sacrificing bonding strength. It cures fast and shortens the waiting time for slitting and rewind: laminates can be processed after 1 day, triplex composite available within 24 hours, and full curing finished in 3–5 days to speed up inventory turnover.
The two components adopt uniform 20kg drum packaging for easy material management and feeding. Mixing ratio is flexible from 100:60 to 100:80 to match different substrates, avoiding overuse of hardener and unnecessary cost waste. Equipment maintenance cost is also reduced: only regular cleaning every 6–8 hours is required, and no solvent recovery equipment needs daily maintenance.
The product passes all food safety standards for domestic and overseas markets, applicable for boiling, retort and daily food packaging. Factory trials are suggested before bulk order to optimize coating weight and mixing ratio for maximum cost savings. Contact Ruico’s technical team to calculate your cost reduction plan.
