For packaging factories struggling with strict VOC emission limits and solvent residue complaints, Ruico LF 2077 matched with Hardener LF 2188 is the ideal solvent-free two-component polyurethane laminating solution. Featuring 100% solid content without any volatile solvent, it eliminates oven drying procedures, slashing power consumption and lowering production costs.
This universal adhesive bonds pre-treated PE, BOPP, CPP, PET, nylon, metalized films and aluminum foil, supporting 2–4 layers film-film, film-metalized and film-aluminum composite structures. It delivers excellent surface wetting and matches all mainstream printing inks, producing zero bubbles during high-speed lamination without flying glue or mist. Finished laminates resist 100°C boiling for 40 minutes and 121°C retort sterilization for 30 minutes. After full curing, the glue layer stays transparent, odorless, elastic and anti-aging, maintaining premium packaging appearance.
Standard mixing weight ratio is 100:80, adjustable 60–80 parts hardener for customized structures. Dry coating weight ranges 1.2–3.2 g/m²; printed films require moderately higher coating amount. Mixed adhesive viscosity rises rapidly at 40°C, so precise continuous dosing equipment is required. Complete curing finishes in 3–5 days at room temperature, and rewinding/slitting can be operated after 24 hours.
The product complies with FDA §175.105, BfR XXVIII, EU plastic directives and China GB 9685-2016, fully safe for food contact. Unopened drums retain 9-month shelf life between -30°C and 30°C. Operators must install efficient exhaust systems and avoid direct skin contact with isocyanate-containing raw materials. Pre-production ink compatibility trials are strongly recommended to guarantee stable mass production.
