How Can SBR Latex Help Cement-Based Product Development?

According to the Technical Data Sheet, RF-9608A offers good chemical stability, excellent dispersibility, and good compatibility with various cements. It is also designed to increase adhesion to most substrates.

The product has a typical solid content of 48.0 ± 1%, pH 7.0–9.0, and viscosity ≤800 mPa·s. Its Tg and MFFT are both listed as 6°C.

These technical characteristics can provide a starting point for laboratory formulation work.

However, the same polymer latex may perform differently depending on the complete formulation.

For example, cement type, filler system, additive selection, water ratio, mixing process, polymer dosage, curing conditions, and application method may all influence the final result.
