Easy Compounding, Stable Production: RFA-7632 NBR Latex
For glove manufacturers, production efficiency starts long before the dipping line begins.
The formulation stage is an important part of the manufacturing process. A latex that is easy to compound and provides good stabilization can help manufacturers simplify production and maintain more consistent processing conditions.
This is one of the reasons why RFA-7632 NBR Latex is designed for disposable medical glove applications.
RFA-7632 is a carboxylated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer dispersion with a medium acrylonitrile level. It is supplied as an aqueous colloidal dispersion and contains an emulsifier system and antioxidant stabilization.
The Technical Data Sheet indicates a typical solid content of 44.0 ± 0.5%, pH of 8.0–9.0, and viscosity of ≤100 cps under the specified test conditions.
More importantly from a manufacturing perspective, RFA-7632 is described as easy to compound, with no specific requirements during compounding. Its stabilization characteristics allow it to adapt to most manufacturing conditions and support high yield.
For manufacturers producing disposable medical gloves, this combination can be valuable.
A production line needs materials that can work consistently with established processes. When raw materials are easier to handle and formulate, manufacturers can spend less time dealing with unnecessary formulation complexity and more time focusing on productivity and product quality.
RFA-7632 is also recommended for disposable medical gloves requiring a good balance between strength and softness.
At Zhejiang Ruico Advanced Materials, our goal is to provide more than a product specification sheet.
We aim to understand our customers' applications, communicate technical requirements clearly, and support customers in evaluating the suitability of our latex for their production processes.
Before mass production, appropriate trials and tests should always be conducted according to the customer's own manufacturing technology and applicable certified standards.
