Beyond road construction, bitumen-based waterproofing systems play a vital role in building protection, bridge decks, and underground structures. High-solids SBR latex significantly enhances the flexibility and durability of these systems.

Waterproofing membranes must accommodate substrate movement without cracking. SBR-modified bitumen forms an elastic layer capable of absorbing structural stress, thermal expansion, and minor settlement.

RF-7663 and RF-7664 provide adhesion to concrete and metal substrates, reducing the risk of delamination. Their water resistance ensures long-term protection even in submerged or high-humidity environments.
