Exterior wall coatings can resist bad weather, and at the same time resist mold, mildew, fading, cracking, chipping, etc. On the other hand, interior wall paint can resist stains and can be scrubbed clean without damage. Interior paint is also made of chemicals that are safer for breathing.

There are only a few ingredients in paint, and each of them is critical. The main basis of paint, also called solvent, is oil or water. Oil-based coatings are often used for exterior wall coatings, but are not usually used for interior wall coatings. Water-based coatings can be used for interior wall coatings or exterior wall coatings.

Pigments give your paint color. Special additives can give your paint different physical effects, such as water resistance, UV resistance, or make it more durable.

When you apply paint to the surface, the solvent will quickly start to evaporate. Once completed, you are left with only pigments and additives, which will adhere to the surface you just painted with resin.

Epoxy resins, silicone resins, and acrylic resins can all be used as resins. Because exterior wall coatings need to be used consistently under more complicated conditions, coarser resins with excellent adhesion are usually used.

Once the paint dries and the resin binds your paint and additives to the surface, your walls will be painted and look new.
