Do you know the geotextile ?

An interesting and beautiful application is the use of textile membranes in roof construction. This area is also called textile building. The use of PVC-coated high-strength PES, Teflon-coated glass fiber fabric or silicone-coated PES has low creep properties. Excellent examples of this structure can be found in football stadiums, airports and hotels.

Geotechnical (geotextile)

These are used for embankment reinforcement or construction projects. The fabrics in geotextiles are permeable fabrics and are used with soil that has the ability to separate, filter, protect, or drain. Application areas include civil engineering, earthwork and road construction, dam engineering, soil sealing and drainage systems. The fabric used therein must have good strength, durability, low moisture absorption and thickness. In most cases, non-woven fabrics and woven fabrics are used. Synthetic fibers such as glass, polypropylene and acrylic fibers can be used to prevent cracks in concrete, plastics and other building materials. Polypropylene and polyester are used in geotextiles and dry/liquid filtration due to their compatibility.

Home technology (home textiles)

Textiles used in the domestic environment-interior decoration and furniture, carpets, sun protection, cushioning materials, fire protection, pillows, floor and wall coverings, textile reinforcement structures/accessories.

In contract markets such as large-area buildings, ships, caravans, buses, and flame-retardant materials are used. Flame-retardant properties can be obtained by using inherent flame-retardant fibers (such as Modacrylic) or by coating a coating with flame-retardant additives (bromides of phosphorus compounds).

Lifting textiles

Technical textiles for lifting applications. Used in the process of lifting goods. The produced textile is strongly woven with high tenacity yarn, and the fabric is heated and high temperature treated to control its elongation. It is usually made of high tenacity polyester and nylon, but Dyneema's HMPE yarn can also be used.
